GMSO is about facilitating science at sea. Our mission is to expand ocean research opportunities for all scientists and explorers. How? By providing efficient, capable, and professionally staffed research vessels. We are assembling a fleet of small research vessels (SRVs, 60′ – 110′). Once conditions allow, our ships will be strategically placed to meet regional demand around the country.

In order to better serve the ocean science community, we would like to learn about the equipment and capabilities you need for your at-sea research.
